2025 Lab BBQ (with an Italian Twist!)
In early August, the lab held its annual summer gathering — traditionally our Lab BBQ, but this year we traded the grill for a delicious Italian feast!
Thanks to Jen, our PI’s wife, the team enjoyed homemade lasagna, baked ziti, antipasto, and an impressive lineup of desserts contributed by our generous students. It was a fantastic spread that more than made up for the lack of a grill.
We were also thrilled to welcome back several lab alumni, now working in local biotech companies, who joined us for the celebration. It was a great reminder of the growing network and ongoing connections within our lab community.
Big thanks to everyone who helped cook, clean, or just brought good vibes. Here’s to another great year of science, collaboration, and occasional carbs.
